Here at Messiah we really mean it when we say, “All are welcome.”  Romans 3:23 says, “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”  None of us is perfect, but we invite you to join us and spend time in community learning more about God’s Word, the salvation he offers us, and how to better love one another.  God has a plan for you.

Sometimes it’s hard to try something new if you don’t know what to expect.  Here’s some information that will hopefully help answer some of your questions.  If you have any other questions feel free to contact us.  We hope to see you soon!

truthDo I have to be a Christian or not have any doubts about my Christianity to come?

No.  Messiah is a place to learn and grow in Christ.  It is a place for non-believers and believers to come and learn together, experiencing the hope & joy that God offers.  If you have questions about Christianity please feel free to contact us online as well.  We also recommend the audio series, “Questioning Christianity” by Tim Keller.

What can I expect during a service?

Our services are a mix between traditional & contemporary.  We sing both traditional hymns and contemporary songs, often with a praise team.  We spend time in prayer and learning from the Bible.  An offering is taken, but it is for our members & regular attenders; please do not feel obligated to give.

What do my kids do during the worship service?

Children are welcome to join their parents during worship.  However, we also have a well-staffed nursery available downstairs.  For kids 4 years-1st grade there is an opportunity during the service for them to go downstairs for children’s worship before the sermon begins.

What should I wear?

You should wear whatever you are comfortable in.  Some people at Messiah wear suits & ties, many wear business casual and others wear jeans & t-shirts.  We welcome anyone who comes to worship, regardless of dress.
